Is it just me or does this winter feel extra long and cold?! I keep waiting and wishing for spring to start! Hopefully we won't have to wait much longer for the warmer weather, but until then pack the kiddos in the car and bring them in one of these indoor play areas and let them run, climb and jump to their hearts content.
Jumpin Jeepers
926 Route 6
Mahopac, NY
Ok, so not actually in Westchester, but just a short drive for us Northern Westchester folks. This place is a blast for little ones! They have a 2 story play structure, a bouncy castle, play houses, ride on toys and the "tot lot" which is only for kids up to 2 years old. Everything is very clean and has never gotten overly crowded when we've gone. They also have a cafe area where your little guys can take a break and grab an organic snack (or you can bring your own! But keep in mind that it is a nut-free zone!). Be sure to check out their calendar because they often have fun activities going on such as sensory table Wednesdays and story time on Mondays! Walk in admission is $10.
Gymnastics City

Cortlandt Manor, NY
I just recently learned that Gymnastic City has an indoor playground that anyone can go to...perfect for cold or rainy days! Though much of this playground is more suited for older kids (probably 3 and up), my 2 year old still had a blast and was able to do a lot on her own. She loved the slides and ride on toys. Overall a fun place and we will be visiting again! Only $5 admission (and 1/2 price for siblings).
WeeZee
480 Bedford Road
Chappaqua, NY
I haven't had the chance to visit yet, but this place looks like a blast! It has so much fun packed into one place, I don't think I could list everything! The facility focuses on sensory integration and they have something for every age! Check out their site and check out all of the awesome activities they do! Seriously makes me want to be a kid again...I mean the Rain Room?! Come on, how cool! I'm not sure if they have a walk in admission or just memberships, I plan on finding out soon!
Grand Prix

Mount Kisco, NY
I had no idea that this go cart/arcade place had activities for younger kids we well. They have bouncy castles and "Toddler Town" (for crawlers and up to age 4). It's $10 for a bracelet to the play area. I love the fact that "Toddler Town" is made up of mats, it's perfect for younger children! I look forward to checking this place out!
